At chingay now!! Waiting for the last run (zomg!!) but it's rly fun!!:)) stupid partner at volleyball match so I had to dance alone today lol. I think we all srsly enjoyed ourselves jumping around and waving to random people and running towards cameramen and exhausting all the energy from the gross packet dinner lol. Can't wait for the actual chingay on the 11th and 12th!! Hope they give us tix to give our families because mummy wants to come!! First time sia hahaha. :)))) ohmondieu totally forgot bout homework and readings zz. News seem to spread fast in hall, because so many people have been coming up to me bout me not staying next sem. Wasnt easy to make that decision but I guess I rly want this immersion. But I feel so so bad because the turnover rate for our blocks gna be really high :/ at least I'm still doing fwoc and helping out w the freshie stuff next sem. Mehh shall not dwell on sad stuff. Omg 10:27 alr when are we starting so we can go home!!

Im on the bus and sometimes I wish the bus would go nowhere. Nowhere so I didn't have to get off and do mundane thing, nowhere so I could listen to maroon5 forever and Bruno mars' overly played songs-though I'm currently in love w Marry You hahaha. Nowhere so I could immerse myself in my ditsy thoughts and go to sleep. You know that feeling when you wake up from your nap and realize you've not gotten to your stop and you feel a little happy inside because you can go back to sleep? Haha well that's how I feel and I like that:) bought a hello kitty ring from the bazaar today! (omdieu) but it was so cute and it was just screaming at me lol. Gave up pretty hair ribbons because I realized I wouldn't want to spend time every morning perfecting it's position on my head and it's $4 I can save for something else, hehe.

I think I'm gna have 4 8ams at the rate my tutorial slots are going. -.- which is horrible because I have to sleep earlier and sleep during my productive hours from 1-3 and still wake up damn tired not knowing how to survive the day oh SIANNNNN-.- praying hard I'll get the Friday 12pm slot instead so I will have one less 8am T_T cannot wait for tmr. Please bring good news!!!:)

Need to really start readings soon too :(( it's like I'm the only one who's kinda forgotten school has started. Must blog about happy things. :) last night when I was doing laundry I visited (or disturbed but I know they never mind hahaha) my fav second floor short wing phantoms and complained bout German and 8am classes and timetables and school. And last night before they went off for supper they came up specially to the 5th floor (for the first time!!) to see if I was alright:) AWWWW or what??? Especially touched so i decided to blog bout it hahaha thankq Junquan Jason new blockie Alwyn and Bryant for letting me complain regulary and breaking the peace in your wing and screaming happy birthday in the middle of the night and opening your doors for no apparent reason hahaha. I'll miss them truckloads when I move out :((

Science gem lecture today and we basically spent 4 hours this week watching the movie '21'. And laughing at my HK lecturer lol. I hope we're able to laugh as hard when the math kicks in. guess what after lecture I left my laptop under the table and happily walked out. Only realized it an hour later when i was alr back at hall showing jj my lights WTS. Noticed it because I couldnt find the bag to put my charger in :( lucky for me this nice guy from the next lecture dropped me a message to tell me that he found my laptop!!! Jj and sab thinks I'll leave my kids in the trolley when I go to the supermarket next time. AM I THAT ABSENTMINDED??? lol. Dimsum and red bean milk tea and Starbucks' belgium waffles w px just now :) I'm gna miss her when she flies to Melbourne in a month://// the friend whom I never knew how we met and never knew how we even got close but I'm glad it turned out that way :))

Pretty psyched for the guys' commissioning parade tmr! Bringing cam to capture all their handsome moments hahaha:) then dinner with ms auntie HOOOOOOOORAYYYY haven't seen her properly for some time!! And I rly need to get started on readings. Sunday, perhaps. After Cny shopping HAHAHA.

class today made me feel so, so horrigibleishgebish. &i don't want this to make my sem2 an awful one :( it's like shock plus agony all served during the first 5 minutes, coupled with pms and the lack of sleep. everyone in class is like secretly german3 or smthg how come im the only one reading foreign words off the worksheets????  i need to complain less but i don't want to bottle it up either :( please please please please please let me get all my tutorial slots tomorrow becos i can't take the stressors from my mods need to stay afloat for 4 again :////// can't wait for breakfast w jj tmr and sit through the antics of my hk maths gem lecturer although its 8am gahhhh :( at least it'll put a smile back for the end of the week.

Saw so, SO many people today :) :) From neighbours left right up down old new to seniors from secondary school/jc to fav people whom I haven't screamed with in MEGA LONG :) :) :) And random popz by from Joy the real life neighbour whom I don't have classes with anymore :( Plus many many random people from previous tutorials and ex sps yayyyyy. Glad I stayed back for like 4 hours although class ended at 930am hahahaha. AND I LOVE MY NEW MATHS GEM LECTURER. Love his quirkiness his enthusiasm for the topic his attempts at changing our paperchasing mindsets and his hk accent I AM TOTALLY GONNA WAKE UP FOR HIM EVERY TUES AND FRIDAYYYYYYY. Wore longs for the 3rd time in 2 sems I think I'm gna wear them more often it's like Winter alr.

Phuket was really an eye-opener. Some would view the streets of Patong as sleazy, but I guess it gave us a pretty different perspective on day to day life. Esp the nightlife-chao different from that of Sg's.

I liked that I got to spend time w couz and sis. I mean we don't get to converse in fake hk accents and act totally retarded talk bout brainless things like oxen and cows and bulls and wth's the difference with all the names and their young over Sunday dinners. Not that we can't, really. I realised that we dont exactly want to. It's like we have this invisible barrier that holds us back from intruding into each others' comfort zones. Idk when it started, but it's awkwardly there. I remember the 4 of us sharing an unusually quiet tuktuk ride back to the hotel, and Aunt E commented on the silence, wondering why the three of us didn't seem to have anything to talk about, when we used to be inseparable in the past. I guess the times of jumping and singing to Hi-5, pretending to be power rangers and camping in the backyard garden with torches & our fav tent are wayyyyy past us. As much as I truly miss those silly moments, I think I'll cherish the little stupid times we have together on overseas trips where I'm at the age where I'll force them to take jumpshots and loads of pictures and they'll grudgingly pose for one, hahaha.

on the train back, i saw this bunch of primary school bois. oh, how i used to have a crush on those-like 12, 13 years back, hahaha. yes i used the word "those". oh yessssss, i bought pretty flower lights!!! :D:D:D:D:D happiest buy next to next smelling soap :) :) :) gna see if anyone wants to help me/think of where to hang it in hall. quite excited for a pretty room because im bringing the hello kitty lamp too!!!!!! hope i don't get electrocuted or smthg LOL and hope the voltage doesn't get too highhhh!!

Been hearing many people struggling with rs problems recently, and it really gets me wondering if such things are worth the time and the effort-or but frivolous comfort and entertainment. Cheer up Fee, you're so, so much better than this and I guess I'm sticking to my stand of you cutting it off. Will prolly never understand unless I'm in your shoes :/ Plus, not being able to get modules within bidding reach is not making things any better :( This way I won't be able to take mods with fav people anymore ://////////

It's gonna be a great 2011 :)

January started off with a post-Orlando/Universal Studios/Disneyworld/Cruise fever. And I think I channelled it all into post Sg xmas sales and wasting $$ hahaha. I still miss their *$'s caramel xmas drink until I found a replacement this xmas-Toffee Nut Latte! :D:D Succumbed to looking for a job w Charlene becos we needed to fund our bum lives hahaha and started at USS in Feb. First job evaaaaa and I remember how it was like jc all over again minus studying and increasing the gossiping and complaining. But we worked hard for our $$ kayyyyy. Gave first pay to ah gong ah mah and I will never forget that look of surprise on their face :)  First thing I could do for them hehehe :) :)

Thanks to Nessa, Alynn and I were able to do smthg nice and teach the kids @ serangoon gardens and it was really meaningful time :) Learnt super alot from them ESP how to draw sharks HAHAHA. (Refer to post about screaming kids.)

Then May came with KR's blueblood and June with Sichuan trip and ARTSCAMP :D Met some of the best people there hehe. Then RAG with more wonderful people (inserts heartshapes aplenty over here) and then before you know it came August where Sem begin. Then slowly the fun decreased (though still present nonetheless) and it was mugging and stress and ohmygawd exams. December had to be the best month, as usual :) It was a different December from my past 18 Decembers. No overseas trip and no adult supervision for the whole month, lol. I think the past 5 months were srsly on gear5 but I wouldn't trade the laughter, tears, stress and love for any other experience :)

I think I've grown alot, last 2010 and I've learnt so many things from encountering different people in University. The world is really big, afterall.

Started 2011 with seeing people I haven't seen in AGES. -14/08 baldies and my ever lovely 16beta hc :) :) :) I love doing up surprises for others! And on the 6th it's Phuket with couz sis and aunt oh holy cannot waittttt for some more crrrrrrazy times we're gna parasail and whitewater raft and jump off cliffs??? And GOOD FOOD! And I'm officially sick well done ymy well done. Need to recover before mtg raggers tmr for Kbox and chinatown dinner wohoooooo.

I miss hall. Okay more like I miss my neighbours. I miss the 2nd floor guys I'll always disturb and annoy and wake up in the middle of the night when I do my laundry, I miss laughing at them, I miss online shopping with my floor, I miss fighting for the toilet w people, I miss popping in people's rooms randomly and I miss the retarded things we do gahhhh:/  I'm glad I have chingay so I can see my neighhhhbars more often. We tried the costumes yesterday! I got yellow instead of pink :/ I look like a bumblebee. But I'm gna insist that I'm a cute one HAHAHAHA. Crossing fingers for next sem, I want to survive. Gna see fav people less often because we don't have the same mods alr=less people to rant=must grow up alrrrrr.

I want to find more nice friends like the amazing ones I've found this sem. :) :)

Wah, if I were to document how I spent every single day of my hols... haha it would definitely be something to read when im sad hahahaha :) :)

Went climbing on Monday! :) Haven't climbed in such a long time, and it was a good three, four hours or so :) Plus bouldering! Homed and then chingay at night! Chingay was pretty fun w the partnerwork! Supper after that with NELians Chrischeow Sheryl and JonChong WHOM I HAVEN'T SEEN IN AGESSSSSSS. Awesome time with awesome company talking about everything under the sun plus AWESOME FOOD! I srsly am not a good ambassador of the food at my house lol. Woke up late for training on Tuesday LOL. Rushed to Acjc and we did some gym! More of trying out the machines by HEY my muscles are aching today LOL. & we went to JB after that LOL rebel101 much. But it was fun! Told mum over whatsapp just now heng she was fine with it. Lunch at a nice jap palce with horrible dumplings though LOL. Bought my first pirated dvd IT WAS SO HILARIOUS but the guy selling it to us was damn nice he told us we could bring bout two discs across and if they come and kp us WE CAN ASK THE CUSTOMS TO CALL HIM HAHAHAHA. Got Dexter S1 for sis merryxmas annoying girl. Walked arlound and I bought useless stuff like a Hello Kitty chop and Hello Kitty lamp LOL. Plus pias for ahgong and ahmah. Got back to Sg at bout 5 plus and decided to surprise ah gong with pias and visit them :) :) I miss them a lot ://// Rushed to meet Jo for guess what... MAMBO with the og hahahhaa. FIRST MAMBO EVER AND IT WAS DAMNNNN FUNNN! It's like just retro moves and non sleazy music. A leeeeeetle too overcrowded though. But the guys did a good job of protecting us lah JJ THE MOST POOR THING he was trying to push this guy to move past us faster and the huge guy turned and glared at him HAHAH THEN HE GAVE THE INNOCENT ??? FACE LOL luckily we had pauldamnbuffguy to break the awkwardness hahahaha. Good music and good company :) :) And laughing at (ahem) fat people and desperate people and people looking to take advantage of others and drunk aunties in toilet HAHAHAHA.

OH, THIS TIME LAST NIGHT HAHAHA.

I like to read (and often too much) of the musings and writings of people around me, both in&out of my social circle. After which there will be this moment where the background will seem to de-noise and flashbacks of the same stupid scenes go on replay. I tend to read too much into things, think too deeply and feel too emotional about everything that's going on. Need to seriously stop doing that. New year resolution (again) much? Everyone's bubble varies in size. You can't fit everyone you know comfortably, and those you want may not even wish to be part of the fit. I need to learn to be contented with my bubble; because as green as the grass looks on the other side, I have to remember that I am on someone else's "other side", too.

I am supposed to be doing reports and presentation stuff now, and I need to stop using this to procrastinate. It was so heartwarming today when I opened the door and all the little kiddos went "jiejie elizabeth!!" in their chirpy-high pitched-cute tones. I felt so loved and I wanted to just melt and dive into their arms or something LOL. It was a nice way to start the day(: Esp so since mini chaos resumed in every corner of the room after 5 mins, hahaha. Was trying to teach one of them maths on my left and entertain the one on my right while trying to fend off/trying to get the one charging in front of me to GET OFF THE TABLE. The teacher in charge was chasing two kids round the room trying to get them to stop hitting each other (lol) and another two were crying/repeating words. After the girl on my right got pissed with me, (which was quite a scary moment!!) because I tried to correct her grammatical error.. Another one screamed at me because I kinda accidentally sat on his leg, LOL. And that leg boy called Ryan asked me why I couldn't stay the whole day!! He asked me to ask my mum if I could stay till dinner (awww) but I told him I couldn't because I had driving. After that the boy on the left said he would call the police to shoot down my car ... awesome. But I told him V and A were coming tomorrow and that made all the kids happy!! :D:D (V AND A ARE YOU BOTH READING THISSS???)
I like this volunteer thing (: It's meaningful and I think it's made me a happier person leh!! :D :D We're going to get them to grow green beans soon!! (: &, Got to talk to two bald people just now! And doubly sad because I cannot spend time w mummy this entire december becos shes in South America with my aunt for a whole month wtsbbqqqqq?????? For that I'm gg to run the 21km stanchard in her place HOPE I DON'T DIE HAHAHAHA. But there's so much hall stuff in dec too oh wowsie heng I don't hafta move everything back or I will just PENG. Like, PENG.

You gotta admit that Uni life gives you a sneak preview- and sometimes even more, of the real world.

It's fun, full of new people and jam-packed w new difficulties. Plus it causes you to question your abilities, everyday.

After so many interactions with people and my 3 months here,

I realised that I'm pretty average.

But I don't want to be.

I think it's so funny that everyone thinks I'm oblivious to what's going on.

STRESS.

I should read more.

And take more time off to do nice things for people.

I'm sleeping on avg 5 plus hours a day and I consider it to be normal?? Major shift from the usual 8 hours and 14 hours LOL. Somehow I'm accustomed to it alr :( Need to start shifting body clock earlier to sleep at like 1 or 2 but that's like early no?? It's not that I'm not studying it's just that I get distracted and I do xxx and yyy stuff and just like drift away. PLUS the fact that my fish memory's not of much help. Got quite a scare just now when I couldn't locate my 4 page tutorial assignment on my lappie or on the thumbdrive. WA LAO DIED FOR TWO MINUTES till it appeared by some miracle :) :)

Everyone's stressed out and it's so sad when you think about it. :( We're only 2 months into school and we're getting buried?? Gotta rinse and repeat on a daily basis although sometimes you find more time to breathe. Life's definitely more than studying, but I guess studying-and attempted to do pretty well is pretty much our whole life now. That's why I'm really glad I have hall. Although it deprives me of sleep it fills every second that I spend in this campus. And the people here are awesommeeee beyond awesome :) :)

Totally excited for a Bali trip this Dec!!! IF it ever happens either way I get happy thinking about it yay!! :D:D:D:D AND I WANT TO BUY A NEW CAMERA WOHOO!

Okay on a happier note school=love=friends. Og outing on Sat-I'm pretty psyched because I haven't seen anyone in ages considering we dont take common mods or have many common lunches :( :( I don't want next sem to come because we'll all be taking diff mods again zzz :(

I'm glad all the people I've met this camp are so nice and kewl yay I like all of them alot alot :D I rmb how I was so scared I would be some loser loner or smthg if I wasn't on the same frequency as everyone else LOL WTS. Anw woke up bright and early to meet the kids today after missing them the whole of last week! They're as cute and as naughty as ever I seriously think one of them secretly hate me (BUT WHY??? T_T) Today was learning spelling, vocab and spongebob monopoly!! :D Some of them are starting to fall sick oh no flu virus :( :(
